More importantly as time passes on the leather colour will slowly turn darker until it eventually becomes a dark brown colour. The longer you use it the smoothier and richer it becomes.

3. Harness leather also belongs to a type of vegetable tanned leather. The only difference is a large amount of honey wax is inputted during the tanning process therefore the leather contains a lot of wax. This wax will slowly seep to the outside leather to nourish the leather and lubricate it.
